Local SEO services
Be found by customers nearby.
Local SEO services help businesses that serve customers in a specific town or area. We align your website, Google Business Profile and listings around the services you provide, so people nearby find you in Google Search and Maps, and we track the calls and enquiries this brings.
What our local SEO services include
Service areas and local demand
We map the services you offer and the places you really cover, then check how people nearby search for them.
Google Business Profile and listings
We review your profile, categories, photos and service descriptions, and fix mismatched names, addresses and phone numbers across the directories that matter in your field.
Service and location pages
We plan a page for each main service and for areas that genuinely differ. A new location page appears only when there is something real to say about that place.
Calls, forms and mobile
We check that a visitor on a phone can call, book or request a quote in a few taps, and that every enquiry is counted.
Who local SEO is for
A good fit if:
- You serve customers in a specific area: repairs, clinics, legal services, home services, tutoring.
- You have one or several branches, and customers call or visit in person.
- Your profile or listings are out of date, duplicated or managed by different people.
Probably not the right fit if:
- You sell online only, with no address or service area. International SEO or SaaS SEO will suit you better.
- Nobody on your side can keep the address, phone number and opening hours accurate.
What you get from local SEO
- A map of services and areas, with the pages each one needs.
- A ranked list of fixes for the website, the business profile and listings.
- Briefs for the main service and location pages.
- A simple way to count calls and enquiries from search and maps.
How Google ranks local businesses
Google names three factors for local results: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how close you are to the searcher or the area named) and prominence (how well known and well reviewed the business is, online and off).
You can’t move your office closer to every customer, but you can influence the rest: the right primary category, a full list of services, consistent details across the web, regular reviews and a website with a page for each main service. Local SEO is mostly careful, steady work on these.
What affects the cost of local SEO services
Locations and service areas
One office differs a lot from ten branches or a mobile team covering a region.
State of the profiles
Duplicates, wrong categories or a suspended profile have to be sorted out first.
Number of services
Each main service needs its own page and its own place in the profile.
Who keeps it up
Ongoing reviews, photos and updates by your team or with our help. We quote cost and timing in EUR.

How the work runs, step by step
Brief
You tell us which services matter most and where you work. We agree what a good enquiry looks like.
Review
We check the website, the business profile, the listings and how competitors appear in your area.
Plan
You get fixes ranked by impact and effort, with a clear note of who does what.
Changes and checks
Your team or ours makes the changes. We then look at calls, forms and profile insights and agree the next step together.
What we need from you
- Owner or manager access to your Google Business Profile.
- Access to Search Console and analytics, or someone who can export the reports.
- A list of your services and the areas you really cover.
- One person who can confirm addresses, hours and photos.
What we don’t promise. We don’t promise a spot in the map results or a set number of calls. Local rankings depend on distance, competition and Google’s own rules, and nobody can guarantee them. We promise clear work you can check.
Local SEO mistakes that cost businesses calls
- Keywords added to the business name in the profile, against Google’s guidelines, and a common reason for suspension.
- A virtual office or a PO box used as the address.
- Duplicate profiles created by previous staff or agencies.
- City pages copied from one template with only the town name changed.
- Different phone numbers and opening hours on the site, the profile and directories.
Service-area businesses: plumbers, cleaners, tutors
If customers don’t visit you, the address can be hidden and service areas set instead. You can still rank, but mostly near your verified location, so the website’s area pages and reviews from customers in those areas matter even more.
Five towns, one service page
A repair company works in five nearby towns but has one general service page and two duplicate profiles. We merge the duplicates, build pages for the towns that really differ and move the call button to where mobile visitors see it first.
A typical scenario, not a client case.
Local SEO: common questions
Can we rank in a town where we have no office?
In the map results it’s hard, because distance matters. In ordinary search results a useful page about your work in that town can rank well.
Do we need to post on our Google Business Profile every week?
Regular posts don’t move rankings much on their own, but fresh photos, answers to questions and replies to reviews show customers the business is active.
Can an online-only business use local SEO?
Usually not. A Google Business Profile is meant for businesses that meet customers in person or travel to them. For an online offer we suggest international or SaaS SEO instead.
Do you create a page for every city?
Only for places you actually serve and can describe with specific details. Dozens of near-identical city pages tend to do more harm than good.
Do you guarantee top positions on Google Maps?
No. Rankings depend on distance, competitors and search engines. We agree measurable work, such as corrected listings, published pages and tracked enquiries, and report on it.
Do you manage customer reviews?
We help you set up a fair way to ask satisfied customers for reviews and to reply to them. We never write or buy reviews.
What access do you need for local SEO?
Usually the business profile, Search Console, analytics and the CMS. We never ask for passwords by email; we agree a safe way to share access.
Do local links and structured data still matter?
Yes, as supporting signals. We add LocalBusiness structured data that matches the details in your Google Business Profile, and look for genuine local mentions: suppliers, partners, associations, local media and events you take part in. We don’t buy directory packages.
